One must start somewhere

After lurking at the fringe of the blogging world for five years, I've decided I too would make a go of it. Thing is, I hate writing. I just don't generally believe that anything I say or think will interest anyone who's not a part of the committee in my head. (What, doesn't EVERYONE have a committee in his head?)

But the urge to say it anyway just won't go away.

Then there's the whole issue of "what if they don't like me?" and "what if it's not JUST PERFECT?". It doesn't seem that those concerns will silence the urge either. So here we are.

Well, now, that didn't even hurt. Too much.
